RIDGWAY — A 21-point night from Dan Park wasn’t enough for Ridgway to upend Elk County Catholic as the Crusaders held on for a 39-33 victory on the road Friday.
Ridgway (4-7) led ECC 28-25 after the third quarter, but the Crusaders (15-3) managed to go on a 14-5 run in the fourth to get the win.
Charlie Breindl, who led ECC with 17 points, scored seven of those points in the fourth. Luke Jansen scored five in the fourth and finished the night with 14 points.

SMETHPORT — Johnsonburg cruised past Smethport for a 26-point road win Friday night.
Smethport (1-14) took a 12-10 lead after the first quarter before the Lady Rams (3-10) went on an 18-5 run in the second to take a 28-17 halftime advantage. Jburg then used a 15-6 run in the third to extend its lead to 20 points.
Annasophia Stauffer led the Lady Rams with 10 points, while 10 total players for Jburg scored in the victory.
Elizabeth Hungiville was Smethport’s top scorer with a game-high 11 points.
