RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police are looking for information on an accident in which a car backed into the front of the Summit Motel Saturday in Ridgway Township.
According to police, a silver late ’90s model — possibly 1996 — Chevrolet Lumina caused significant damage when it backed into the motel, which is located at 15129 Boot Jack Road.
The car became stuck in a snowbank around 2:45 a.m. Around 7 a.m. that same day, people who arrived in a dark in color Chrysler Pacifica and a black Dodge Charger or Challenger pushed the car out, police reported.
Everyone left the scene without reporting the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway barracks at 814-776-6136.
A “be on the look out” (BOLO) request was issued to local law enforcement agencies over the weekend for the Chevrolet Lumina that was involved in the crash.
