Four county row offices, all school boards, and offices in each municipality will be up for election in the May primary.
The official notice of election for military and overseas voters for McKean County is posted on the website. It gives an overall picture of the municipal election, along with directions on how to obtain a ballot.
The municipal primary is May 18.
According to the list, four-year terms for the county row offices of sheriff, prothonotary, controller and treasurer will be up for election.
The Bradford Area School District will have four seats up for election in the primary. All are four-year terms.
The Kane Area School District will have six seats up for grabs, four of which are four-year terms, and two are two-year terms.
The Otto Eldred School District will have four seats up for election. Region I in Otto Township has one four-year term; Region II in Eldred Township has two four-year terms; Region III in Eldred Borough and the west side of Ceres Township will have one four-year term available.
The Oswayo Valley School District will have two four-year terms available for the east side of Ceres Township.
The Port Allegany School District will have four seats available, all of which are four-year terms.
Smethport Area School District will have five seats available, one four-year term for Region I, which is Norwich Township and Smethport Borough; two four-year and one two-year terms for Region II, which is Hamlin and Sergeant townships and the third district of Keating Township; while one four-year term is available in Region III for the first and second districts of Keating Township.
In the City of Bradford, three terms on Bradford City Council are up for election, as is the office of city controller.
For the boroughs in the county, the office of mayor is up. The boroughs are Smethport, Port Allegany, Lewis Run, Mount Jewett, Eldred and Kane. Council terms will be up in each as well.
In the townships, positions of supervisor will be up for election. The number varies by township.
The townships are Bradford, Foster, Annin, Ceres, Corydon, Eldred, Hamilton, Hamlin, Keating, Lafayette, Liberty, Norwich, Otto, Sergeant and Wetmore.
The last day to circulate and file nomination petitions is March 9. The last day to register before the primary is May 3. The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is May 11.
The municipal election is Nov. 2.
