Rob Ferguson has announced his intention to run on the Republican ticket for Bradford City Council on the principles of faith, freedom, and standing tall.
This is his first foray into politics, and he’s interested in hearing ideas from the community for how to improve Bradford.
Ferguson has lived in Bradford for most of his life. He has worked as a stocker at Walmart for the past 12 ½ years on overnights.
He volunteered at the Bradford Area Public Library for a number of years, as well as at Hill Memorial’s Kids’ Club. He currently serves as vice president of the American Chess School and is actively involved with the Bradford scholastic chess program.
He is a graduate of the class of 1994 from Bradford Area High School. He is the son of Robert Ferguson, a former teacher in the Bradford Area Schools plus long-time advisor for the Bradford Chess Club. He is a Christian and currently attends Grace Lutheran Church, where he has spoken on revival in America and other topics. His second message went over a million views on Facebook and received positive responses from over 125 nations.
Ferguson commented to the Era that, “I’m looking forward to serving the Bradford community and hope that you’ll trust me with your vote.”
