There were 36 new cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths over the weekend, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County surpassed the 3,000-case mark over the weekend, reporting 16 new cases between Friday and Sunday for a total of 3,010. There are 2,274 confirmed cases, 736 probable cases and 9,568 negative tests.
Elk County had 12 new cases, bringing the total to 2,296 — 1,219 confirmed cases, 1,077 probable and 5,423 negative tests.
In Potter county, there were 6 new cases, bringing the total to an even 900 — 804 confirmed, 96 probable and 3,087 negative tests.
Cameron County has 2 new cases for a total of 256 — 173 confirmed, 83 probable and 935 negative tests.
McKean and Potter counties each reported an additional death this weekend, bringing their totals to 61 and 21, respectively. Elk County’s number of deaths remains at 35, and Cameron County’s is 7.

As of Sunday, there have been 1,921 people in McKean County who received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 1,609 who have received two doses. In Elk County, 4,475 received one dose and 2,261 received two; in Potter County, 503 received one and 435 received two; and in Cameron County, 913 received one and 239 received two.
