On Wednesday afternoon, nine members of Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter #16 weighed in with a 4.6 pound loss. Jean was the weekly loser in waiting and Virginia was the officer of the week.
The nickelodeon item was pasta of any kind. Members are to skip the potatoes this week and try spaghetti squash and pomegranate. Elaine gave a healthy tip, and this inspiration was shared: “One person can make a difference. You do.. Every day!”
Elaine was presented with her five year KOPS award. She has achieved her healthy weight goal and has been able to keep her goal for five consecutive years. The chapter is very proud of her.
Dianne gave a helpful tip, dressing a big butt: wear sturdy fabric, dress your curves with material that has structure such as cotton blends and wool blends.
Jamie presented the program and shared some helpful hints out of the Woman’s World magazine. Items that were spoken about were tricks for stronger bones such as brewing bagged tea first thing in the morning to help with one’s bones. Sipping three cups daily will lower the risk of osteoporosis by 30%. How to reduce thinning of bones? Jump for two minutes daily — try jumping during commercials.
