Eleven additional cases of COVID-19 were identified in Tuesday’s data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had two additional cases for 2,972 — 2,247 confirmed, 725 probable and 9,474 negative tests.
Elk County had seven additional cases for 2,267 — 1,211 confirmed, 1,056 probable and 5,351 negative tests.
Potter County had one additional case for 889 total — 793 confirmed, 96 probable and 3,057 negative tests.
Cameron County had one additional case for 252 total — 171 confirmed, 81 probable and 925 negative tests.
The extra cases in McKean County were in Bradford, for 960 confirmed and 160 probable.
In Elk County, four additional cases were in St. Marys, for 543 confirmed and 458 probable; one more in Ridgway for 268 confirmed and 174 probable; one in Kersey, 83 confirmed, 103 probable; and one in Sigel for 50 confirmed and 10 probable.
It was not immediately apparent where the additional case in Potter County was located. In Cameron County, the additional case was in Sinnemahoning, where there were 8 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable.
According to the health department, organizations in McKean County have administered 1,818 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 1,334 second doses; Elk County, 4,309 first doses and 1,662 second doses; Potter County, 472 first doses and 359 second doses; and Cameron County, 768 first doses and 190 second doses.
For hospitalizations due to COVID-19, McKean County reported four, Elk County had two and Potter County had three.
In McKean County, nine long-term care facilities indicated there have been a total of 373 cases of COVID-19 among residents, 110 among staff and 47 deaths. In Elk County, three facilities indicated there were 122 cases among residents, 50 among staff and eight deaths. In Potter County, three facilities noted 45 cases among residents, 15 among staff and three deaths. In Cameron County, one facility reported 36 cases among residents, 10 among staff and two deaths.
