COUDERSPORT — A seminar on effective fire department relationships with township and borough officials has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. May 6 at the Coudersport Fire Department training center.
The seminar will teach participants to identify problems that lead to poor relationships, recognize the differences and accountability in the chain of command, identify key questions that public officials want to know about fire departments and describe the importance of planning, among other topics.
Recommended attendees include fire department president, treasurer, board members, chief officers and township supervisors, borough council members, mayors and municipal managers.
