AUSTIN — Hayden Brown poured in 20 points to lead Cameron County to a 49-39 road victory over Austin on Thursday.
With the Red Raiders leading 11-4 after the first quarter, Brown scored each of Cameron County’s 12 points in the second quarter to give the team a 23-11 halftime advantage. After that, the Red Raiders (10-2) were able to hold off Austin for a 10-point win, despite the Panthers’ 17-point fourth quarter.
Also finishing in double figures for Cameron County were Caden Beldin (11) and Gavin Morton (10).
Austin (3-4) was led by Jackson Glover, who recorded a team-high 15 points, and Aydan Nicka, who finished with 12.

RIDGWAY — Holden Housler scored seven points, while Mitchell Reiter and Luke Lasko each scored six to lead St. Marys past Ridgway on the road.
The game was tight throughout, as no team led by more than two after each quarter.
The Dutch improved to 6-3 with the win.
Ridgway (1-5) was led by Aaron Sorg’s nine points.
