WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) has been selected by his Senate Republican colleagues to serve as Ranking Member for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs in the 117th Congress.
“I look forward to leading my Republican colleagues on the committee and working with Chairman Brown to build bipartisan consensus. With vaccination rates increasing and the economy in recovery, Congress must begin working on policies that accelerate economic growth and spur job creation. Towards that end, I am looking forward to expanding access to capital for businesses, promoting the principles of free enterprise, and defending the taxpayers against wasteful spending,” said Ranking Member Toomey.
Senator Toomey is also announcing his senior staff on the committee: Brad Grantz, Staff Director; Dan Sullivan, Chief Counsel and John Crews, Policy Director.
Grantz is a native of Elizabeth Township and a 2003 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University who has worked in Congress since 2008; Sullivan has served as a Navy JAG officer and an attorney at Skadden before beginning his career in government service for then-Representative Toomey in 2003 and Crews is a graduate of Princeton University and has worked for Toomey as a staffer in his personal office for some time.
