There were 47 new COVID-19 cases in the region as of Tuesday’s reporting period, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had 17 additional cases of COVID-19 for a total of 2,898 — 2,197 confirmed cases, 701 probable and 9,318 negative tests. There have been 58 deaths.
Elk County had 21 additional cases for a total of 2,220 — 1,192 confirmed, 1,028 probable, and 5,224 negative tests. There have been 33 deaths.
Potter County had 9 additional cases for a total of 868 — 777 confirmed, 91 probable and 2,994 negative tests. There have been 20 deaths.
Cameron County had no change, and has had 247 cases — 167 confirmed, 80 probable and 901 negative tests. There have been seven deaths.
As of Tuesday, sites in McKean County had administered 1,459 first doses of the COVID vaccine and 1,118 second doses. Sites in Elk County had administered 3,423 first doses and 1,133 second doses. In Potter County, 351 first doses and 315 second doses have been given. And in Cameron County, 560 first doses and 120 second doses have been given.

In Cameron County: Emporium, 146 confirmed, 68 probable; Driftwood, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and Sinnemahoning, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable.
As of Tuesday, there were two patients hospitalized in McKean County with COVID-19, three in Elk County and two in Potter County.
In McKean County, nine long-term care facilities reported 372 residents have had COVID-19, as have 110 staff. There have been 47 deaths.
In Elk County, three long-term care facilities reported 122 resident cases and 50 cases among staff. There have been eight deaths.
In Potter County, three facilities reported 43 resident cases and 15 staff cases, as well as three deaths.
In Cameron County, one facility reported 36 resident cases, 10 staff cases and two deaths.
