McKean County would like to share some resources regarding assistance available through the COVID pandemic with our local businesses.
Small Business Development Center Resources
The Small Business Development Center has various resources that may be helpful for your business. The Small Business Development Center that serves McKean County is through Clarion University. They are currently offering weekly workshops on the SBA Emergency Loan Programs. These hour-long workshops are held Thursdays (February 4, 11, 18, 25) from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. The SBDC also has a webpage that includes a wide variety of resources related to business recovery following disruption due to COVID. This site includes information on loan programs, best practices, information about medical leave, and a variety of other topics. PA Wilds Cooperative Resources
The PA Wilds Cooperative has resources available to assist businesses during the COVID pandemic. Programs include loans, unemployment assistance, best practices, and other resources. You can access information through the PA Wilds Cooperative at https://wildscopa.org/opportunities/.
North Central PA Regional Planning and Development Commission
EDA CARES Act Revolving Loan Fund. North Central received $1.76 million through the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration to offer low cost flexible loans to regional businesses to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID pandemic or economic injury caused by the COVID pandemic.
