There were 37 additional cases in McKean County for a total of 2,202 — 1,745 confirmed and 457 probable, with 8,387 negative tests. There were two additional deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 43.
In Elk County, there were 99 additional cases for 1,884 total cases — 1,077 confirmed and 807 probable, with 4,768 negative tests. There have been 27 deaths from COVID-19.
There were 9 additional cases in Potter County for a total of 749 — 655 confirmed and 94 probable, with 2,718 negative tests. There have been 17 deaths.
Cameron County had four additional cases for a total of 209 — 147 confirmed and 62 probable, with 813 negative tests. There have been a total of six deaths.
As of Friday, there were 215 new deaths reported for a total of 18,957 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health stated that there were 6,047 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 754,611.
In Bradford, there were 9 additional cases for 702 confirmed and 134 probable; Kane, 13 more, 256 confirmed, 49 probable; Smethport, 5 more, 233 confirmed, 25 probable; Port Allegany, 2 more, 154 confirmed, 12 probable; Eldred, 1 more, 96 confirmed, 14 probable; Lewis Run, 1 more, 84 confirmed, 168 probable; Rixford, 1 more, 26 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and Gifford, 2 more, 12 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable.
In Elk County, there were 58 more in St. Marys, with 487 confirmed and 347 probable; Ridgway, 18 more, 241 confirmed, 121 probable; Johnsonburg, 4 more, 113 confirmed, 51 probable; Kersey, 11 more, 66 confirmed, 82 probable; Brockport, 1 more, 42 confirmed, 26 probable; Weedville, 3 more, 57 confirmed, 32 probable; and at least 1 more in Byrnedale for 5 confirmed and 5 probable.
In Cameron County, Emporium had 4 more cases for 132 confirmed and 50 probable.
As of Friday, there were 4,980 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19, near double the peak in the spring. Of that number, 1,013 patients were in the intensive care unit with COVID-19.
McKean County had two patients hospitalized, with one in intensive care; Elk County had six patients hospitalized; Potter County had six patients hospitalized, one in intensive care.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 58,922 resident cases of COVID-19, and 11,065 cases among employees, for a total of 69,987 at 1,507 distinct facilities in all 67 counties. Out of our total deaths, 9,854 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.
McKean County had 9 facilities reporting 287 residents and 94 staff members with COVID-19, and 29 deaths. Elk County had 3 facilities reporting 109 cases among residents, 47 among staff and 7 deaths. Potter County had 2 facilities reporting 33 cases among residents and 14 among staff.
