SMETHPORT — A Bradford man who hid from police was sentenced to a term in state prison Thursday in McKean County Court.
Michael A. Payne, 30, will serve nine to 24 months in prison with credit for 120 days of time served.
Payne pleaded Dec. 17 to a charge of flight to avoid apprehension for allegations that on June 6, he hid from Foster Township officers while on a detainer for arrest on a felony charge for which he was on state parole.
Also in court, Cassandra R. Williams, 30, of Bradford, was sentenced to five months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-controlled substance.
John R. Rush, 34, of Ludlow, will serve three days to six months in McKean County Jail for charges of DUI-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary charge.
Reba L. Williams, 60, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for charges of DUI-alcohol and summary charges.
Allan R. Rose, 38, of Bradford, will pay a $200 fine for a summary charge of harassment. Rose pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to allegations that on March 19, 2019, he subjected a female to physical contact.
