The crew for the YMCA’s 21st CCLC Program have announced an event for families of the program, community members, and teams of trivia buffs alike.
Thinking Cap Thursdays are a family and community outreach event held by the 21st CCLC program, a grant funded program through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Trivia nights will be held at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month— including today — via YouTube live. If the monthly games show increased interest, organizers may hold bi-weekly events.
Today’s game will be New Year’s themed. To participate in the fun and games, join hosts Marissa and John Golden on YouTube live. To find the link, follow the BASD 21 CCLC page on Facebook. The game will use Google Forms to track participants’ answers.
The winning team will claim this week’s grand prize.
Each game’s prize is sponsored by a local business. Sponsors thus far have included The City Line, Sportsman’s Outlet, The Model T Inn, and Cummins Country Charm.
Local businesses interested in sponsoring the next game can reach out to Mary Campbell, director of the 21st CCLC program, at maryc@twintiersymca.org
