In McKean County, Tuesday’s reporting showed 43 additional cases for a total of 1,879; Elk County showed 42 additional cases for 1,562; Potter County showed 5 more cases for 637; and Cameron County showed 3 more for 164.
McKean County has had 24 deaths from COVID-19, Elk County has had 18, Potter County, 15 and Cameron County, 4.

In Elk County, St. Marys had 450 confirmed and 226 probable; Ridgway, 211 confirmed, 83 probable; Johnsonburg, 107 confirmed, 39 probable; Wilcox, 26 confirmed, 16 probable; Weedville, 53 confirmed, 26 probable; Kersey, 58 confirmed, 47 probable; Brockport, 41 confirmed, 23 probable; Sigel, 31 confirmed, 8 probable; Byrnedale, 5 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Benezette, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; James City, 1 to 4 confirmed and probable.
In Potter County, Coudersport had 238 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 32 probable; Shinglehouse, 83 confirmed, 10 probable; Roulette, 31 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Austin, 42 confirmed, 15 probable; Galeton, 52 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Ulysses, 47 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Genesee, 44 confirmed; Harrison Valley, 17 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Mills, 5 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and Cross Fork, 1 to 4 confirmed.
In Cameron County, Emporium had 103 confirmed and 40 probable; Driftwood, 5 confirmed; and Sinnemahoning, 1 to 4 confirmed.
There are 5,630 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19, near double the peak in the spring. Of that number, 1,182 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19.
McKean County had 7 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, 1 in intensive care and 1 on a respirator; Elk County had 2 patients hospitalized with COVID-19; and Potter County had 5 patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
As of Tuesday, there were 185 new deaths reported for a total of 16,546 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 54,956 resident cases of COVID-19, and 10,042 cases among employees, for a total of 64,998 at 1,482 distinct facilities in all 67 counties. Out of our total deaths, 9,079 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.
In McKean County, 9 facilities reported 266 cases among residents, 63 among staff and 22 deaths. In Elk County, 3 facilities reported 105 cases among residents, 41 among staff and 6 deaths. In Potter County, 2 facilities reported 22 cases among residents and 13 among staff. In Cameron County, 1 facility had 28 cases among residents, 6 among staff and 1 death.
