The state continues to experience a spike in cases, with 605,141 positive COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania.
The region reported an increase of 137 cases over the weekend.
McKean County reported 58 new cases for a total of 1,560, with 1,208 confirmed cases and 352 probable. There have been 7,839 negative tests conducted. Two new deaths have been reported as well, bringing the total to 16 individuals who have passed away due to COVID-19.
Elk County had an increase of 35 cases, bringing the total to 1,299. Of those, 838 are confirmed and 461 cases are probable. The county has reported a total of 14 deaths, and 7,839 negative COVID-19 tests have been conducted.
Cameron County has seen three new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 134, with 92 confirmed cases and 42 probable. The county has had one death due to coronavirus. Meanwhile, 747 negative tests have been conducted.
Potter County saw 41 new cases reported over the weekend, bringing its total to 558, with 498 confirmed cases and 60 probable. The county has seen 13 deaths, which is an increase of one from Friday’s numbers.
In McKean County, Bradford has 525 confirmed and 112 probable cases; Smethport has 132 confirmed and 10 probable cases; Kane reports 187 confirmed and 27 probable COVID-19 cases; Lewis Run has 50 confirmed and 149 probable; Derrick City has 7 confirmed cases and 1-4 probable cases of coronavirus; Duke Center has reported 11 confirmed and 6 probable cases; Mount Jewett has 31 confirmed and 6 probable cases; Rixford has 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1-4 probable; Eldred has 70 confirmed and 8 probable cases; Port Allegany has 100 confirmed and 11 probable cases; Turtlepoint has 10 confirmed cases and 1-4 probable; Cyclone has 8 confirmed cases and 6 probable and Rew has 18 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1-4 probable.
In Elk County, the breakdown is as follows: St. Marys has 395 confirmed and 170 probable cases of COVID-19; Ridgway has 160 confirmed and 55 probable cases; Johnsonburg has 82 confirmed and 34 probable cases; Wilcox has 25 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 13 probable cases; Kersey has 53 confirmed and 32 probable and Weedville has 48 confirmed cases and 23 probable cases.
In Potter County, Coudersport has 208 confirmed cases and 29 probable; Shinglehouse has 72 confirmed cases and 8 probable; Roulette has 25 confirmed cases and 1-4 probable; Galeton has 49 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1-4 probable and Austin has 32 confirmed cases and 11 probable.
In Cameron County, Emporium has 80 confirmed cases and 34 probable cases of COVID-19.
In the state, there are 5,905 patients hospitalized with coronavirus. Of those, 1,145 are reportedly in ICU and 747 patients are currently on ventilators.
