There were 210 new cases of COVID-19 in the region in Thursday’s and Friday’s reporting from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had 104 new cases for a total of 1,502 — 1,148 confirmed and 354 probable, with 7,740 negative tests. There have been 14 deaths.
Elk County had 84 new cases for a total of 1,264 — 818 confirmed and 457 probable, with 4,463 negative tests. There have been 14 deaths.
Potter County had 12 more cases for 517 total — 460 confirmed and 57 probable with 2,344 negative tests. There have been 12 deaths.
Cameron County had 6 more cases for 131 total — 89 confirmed and 42 probable and 736 negative tests. There have been 2 deaths.
In Bradford, there were 34 more cases for a total of 500 confirmed and 113 probable; in Smethport, there were 17 more cases, for 124 confirmed and 10 probable; in Kane, there were 17 more cases for 181 confirmed and 28 probable; in Lewis Run, 6 more cases for 50 confirmed and 149 probable; in Mount Jewett, at least 5 more for 29 confirmed and 5 probable; Ludlow, at least 1 more for 5 confirmed; in Rixford, at least 2 more for 12 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable; Eldred, 10 more for 66 confirmed and 8 probable; Port Allegany has 6 more cases for 92 confirmed and 11 probable; Crosby, at least 1 more case for 5 confirmed; Cyclone, at least 4 more, with 8 confirmed and 6 probable; and Rew, at least 3 more for 17 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable.
In Elk County, St. Marys had 27 more cases for 380 confirmed and 169 probable; Ridgway, 10 more for 159 confirmed and 54 probable; Johnsonburg, 7 more for 81 confirmed and 34 probable; Wilcox, 1 more for 25 confirmed and 13 probable; Kersey, 4 more for 52 confirmed and 32 probable; Weedville, 2 more cases for 46 confirmed and 23 probable; and Brockport, 6 more for 36 confirmed and 22 probable.
In Potter County, Coudersport had 5 more cases for 200 confirmed and 28 probable; Shinglehouse, 1 more for 50 confirmed and 8 probable; Roulette, 1 more for 24 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable; Galeton, 2 more cases for 47 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable; Austin, 1 more for 25 confirmed and 9 probable; and Genesee, 2 more cases for 42 confirmed.
In Cameron County, Emporium was up to 77 confirmed and 34 probable.
Regarding patients currently hospitalized, on Friday, the health department reported the following: In Elk County, 9 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19; 14 patients were hospitalized in McKean County, 2 in intensive care,1 on a ventilator; and in Potter County, 5 patients were hospitalized, 2 in intensive care.
In Thursday’s data, In nursing and personal care homes, there are 49,840 resident cases of COVID-19, and 9,070 cases among employees, for a total of 58,910 at 1,443 distinct facilities in all 67 counties.

As of Thursday, In McKean County, 8 facilities have had 211 cases among residents, 48 among staff and 12 deaths. In Elk County, 3 facilities have had 101 cases among residents, 38 among residents and 4 deaths. In Potter County, 2 facilities have had 20 cases among residents and 8 among staff. In Cameron County, 1 facility has had 24 resident cases of COVID-19, and 6 cases in staff, as well as one death.
