PORT ALLEGANY — The S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library building will be closed from Dec. 24-Jan. 3 for the holiday season.
Any library materials that are checked out from Dec. 10 forward will not be due until the first week of January. Patrons may use the library’s contactless curbside pick-up through the Library To-Go Window to stock up on books and movies now.
Visit http://www.swsmithlibrary.org/mobile-library-resources.html to learn how to view the library’s online catalog and reserve books for pick-up. Patrons may also call or email the library their library material pick-up requests. The library crew is happy to select books for patrons, and they also still have free used children’s books available to keep — they will gladly send visitors home with a bag.
Give the library a jingle at (814) 642-9210 or email them at swsmith@swsmithlibrayr.org, and they will send patrons home with some books and movies for the holly jolly holiday week. As always, library e-books and audiobooks are available 24/7 on Seneca Library District OverDrive (aka Libby): https://senecalibraries.overdrive.com/.
The S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library’s free WiFi will remain accessible as well.
