Community Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bradford.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling Shari Jerman at 814-688-3696. Appointments are strongly encouraged to adhere to social distancing and safety protocols.
All donors in the month of December will receive a free, long-sleeve t-shirt when you sign in to donate. The Community Blood Bank has also extended COVID-19 antibody testing through the month of December for all donors.
An antibody test looks for evidence that your body has produced antibodies against a certain virus. The test is meant to determine whether you MAY have had previous exposure to SARS-CoV-2, the virus known to cause COVID-19. Additionally, a positive test result does not guarantee immunity from COVID-19.
