The Bradford Businessmen’s Chess League continued competition by playing online due to the pandemic.
Different parameters have delayed receiving some results, but these are the latest data for the first four rounds: Dr. Gonzalez’s team leads the junior varsity, and Wood Chiropractic’s team is in first in the varsity at the end of round 4. Half a point behind in the varsity is Beefeaters. Two JV teams are tied for second: Bysiek CPA and the Williams Agency.
Top individual scorers for board one in the junior varsity are Jamin Bell (captain for Dr. Gonzalez), followed by a four-way tie for second: Ewan Bell (captain for Dr. Wojcik), Kadyn Tessena (captain for Dexter’s), Trenton Johnson (captain for the Williams Agency), and Sylvia Bysiek (co-captain for Bysiek CPA). Owen Tingley (playing for Dr. Gonzalez) is in first place for board 2, while Lucas Wallace (member of the Williams Agency) and Juliana Bysiek (co-captain for Bysiek CPA) are tied for second.
Tied for first in the varsity are Mike Jones (captain of Wood Chiropractic) and Tamara Gennadievna (captain for Prestige). Peyton Haight (A Slice of the 80s) is in first place for board 2. Chris Bishop (playing for Beefeaters) is tied for second place for board two along with Keith Adkins, who plays for Hennard Construction.
