On Monday, Santa Claus is coming through town!
Due to COVID-19, Santa won’t be able to visit with children in person, but the Downtown Bradford Business District Authority has partnered with the City of Bradford Police & Fire departments to make sure he can still check in and make sure everybody gets on the Nice List.
Santa will be escorted through the City of Bradford by our police & fire departments. Simply keep an eye out for him through your window or by stepping out into your yard. His journey through Bradford will begin at 5 p.m. and the planned route is as follows:
The route will begin in front of the police station on Kennedy Street, then take a left onto Boylston Street, veer right onto East Washington Street, right on Mechanic Street, left on School Street, right onto North Bennett Street, left onto Abbott Road, left onto Interstate Parkway, veer right onto North Bennett Street, right on West Washington Street, left onto Marion Avenue, left onto Catulpa Street, left onto Harding Avenue,
Right onto Barbour Street, right onto Bushnell Street, left onto West Corydon Street, right onto South Avenue, loop left onto Congress Street, right onto Elm Street, left onto Davis Street, veer right onto Main Street, right onto High Street, right onto Grove Street, right onto Rochester Street, right onto Avenue B, right onto Elm Street, left onto High Street, veer right onto East Main Street, left onto North Kendall Avenue and onto Seaward Avenue, left onto Constitution Avenue where the route will loop around the parking lot of the George G. Blaisdell Elementary School and back down Constitution Avenue, right onto Seaward Avenue, veer right onto Jackson Avenue, left onto Davis Street, right onto Main Street where the route will loop around Veterans Square and head back down Main Street, and then left on Kennedy Street to return to the police station.
Officials encourage people to come out to see Santa, wave, bring bells to ring, play Christmas music and turn on holiday lights to bring some Christmas cheer to Bradford!
