DUKE CENTER — A Duke Center male was injured in an accidental shooting just after 7 p.m. Friday at a residence on Sweitzer Drive.
According to police radio reports, a 30-year-old male was shot in the shoulder by a juvenile, who was reported to have facial injuries from the 9-mm pistol. While a call had gone out for a medical helicopter, it was cancelled because of the weather, as emergency dispatchers said the aircraft was having icing issues.
Otto-Eldred Police, Lewis Run-based state police and Foster Township Police were all called to the scene, as was Bradford City ambulance and medic unit.
