WARREN — The Allegheny National Forest’s Bradford Ranger District announced that construction is scheduled for Longhouse Scenic Drive, from now through May 21.
Alternative routes to popular recreation spots between Routes 59 and 321 will be posted.
The road enhancement will integrate two aquatic organism passages connecting the Mudlick Run and its tributary, improving upstream habitat for native species of trout.
Intermittent construction will impact through traffic between Kiasutha Campground to the Elijah Boat Ramp as follows:
Dates of closures and openings of the road may be impacted by weather conditions. Project updates will be posted on the Allegheny National Forest’s website.
