Firearms stolen from Mount Jewett vehicle

LEWIS RUN — Lewis Run-based state police are investigating the theft of firearms from a vehicle in Mount Jewett Borough.

According to police, someone came to the state police barracks at 2:07 p.m. Friday to report that someone entered that person’s pick-up truck and took three firearms. The incident happened between Nov. 1-13 in the area of West Main Street and Campbelltown Road in Mount Jewett.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lewis Run-based state police at 814-368-9230.
