LEWIS RUN — A fire that damaged a structure at 2449 W. Washington St., Corydon Township, on Monday has been ruled arson, according to Lewis Run based state police.
Police said that at 5:45 p.m. Monday, the Corydon Township and Bradford Township fire departments were dispatched for a structure fire at the residence. No one was injured, but the structure sustained an estimated $300,000 in damage.
The state police fire marshal and fire departments investigated the fire and determined it to be incendiary in nature.
Police identified the victim as Garth Stolz Jr. of Battle Creek, Mich.
