Bradford Area School District announced Friday that a staff member at George G. Blaisdell Elementary School had tested positive for COVID-19.

The notification continued, “and due to the household contact, a student at (Bradford Area High School) is also being presumed positive.”

District officials said they have worked with the state health department and identified and notified all families whose students have had close contact with the staff member or student. All of those notified will be required to quarantine for 14 days.

“Both schools and classrooms will be deep cleaned over the weekend and classes will resume on Monday,” the notification stated.
