John C. Roche VFW Post #212 has been forced to cancel the dinner and program planned for Nov. 13 because of the rise in COVID-19 cases in the area.

Although the dinner has been cut, the auxiliary will still be preparing a home cooked meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes/gravy, veggies and a dessert for the Post Veterans that had planned on attending. Instead of a sit-down meal, the auxiliary members, along with the help of Department of Pennsylvania VFWA President Wendi Hennemann and her Chief of Staff Carolyn Paccio, will be delivering the meals to their homes.

The auxiliary is still taking orders for the luminaries and will go on as planned lighting them on Barbour Street Friday evening.
