LEWIS RUN — Lewis Run-based state police were called to investigate the death of a Keating Township infant Wednesday morning.
Police did not release the infant’s name but said the child was a boy who was less than a year old. Police reported that the nature of the incident was a natural death.
According to police, the McKean County 911 Center notified them at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday of possible cardiac arrest of an infant at 183 Fairground Road, Keating Township.
The infant was transported via Bradford City Ambulance to Bradford Regional Medical Center. Life-saving treatment was given, but the baby died, police said.
The case is currently being investigated.
The Lafayette Township and Hilltop fire departments assisted on scene.
