McKean County voters overwhelmingly favored Donald Trump in Tuesday’s election, according to unofficial results posted on the county’s website.
The posted results do not include mail-in ballots.
There were 12,311 votes cast at the polls for the re-election of Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the results indicate, while 2,754 were cast for the team of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The Libertarian candidates Jo Jorgensen with Jeremy Cohen garnered 223 votes, the summary report noted.
In the race for Pennsylvania Attorney General, McKean County voters overwhelmingly supported Republican candidate Heather Heidelbaugh, with 11,826 votes, over incumbent Democrat Josh Shapiro, who garnered 2,779. As of Wednesday afternoon, Heidelbaugh was in the lead statewide, too.
For auditor general, local voters backed Republican Timothy DeFoor, with 11,930 votes, to Democrat Nina Ahmad’s 2,335 tallies. DeFoor was leading as of Wednesday afternoon in the rest of the state as well.
Republican candidate Stacy L. Garrity was the county’s pick for state treasurer, with 12,019 votes, over Democratic incumbent Joe Torsella, with 2,509. Garrity was leading in the state as of Wednesday afternoon.
For representative in the 15th district in Congress, McKean County voters supported incumbent Republican Glenn Thompson with 12,627 votes to Democratic challenger Robert Williams’ 2,490. Thompson was the apparent victor in the race, with 240,865 votes to Williams’ 76,595.
In the race for 25th Senatorial District, voters in McKean County supported apparent winner Republican Cris Dush with 12,068 votes to Democrat Margie Brown’s 3,057.
