AP Thompson wins 15th District race

The Associated Press has called the election for the 15th Congressional District in favor of incumbent Republican Glenn Thompson.

According to information from the Pennsylvania Department of State, even without the results from Clearfield County, Thompson had a huge lead over Democratic challenger Robert Williams, with 239,418 votes to Williams’ 74,750.

Clearfield County experienced issues with late results due to long lines at precincts when the polls were scheduled to close at 8 p.m.
