PORT ALLEGANY — Ruth Joann Mayes, daughter of Dr. W. Wyatt and Bettie Mayes of Buena Vista, Va., and Roderic Lee Johnson, son of Paul and Wilda Johnson of Turtlepoint, were united in marriage Oct. 10 at Canoe Place Fish and Game Club, Port Allegany, with the Pastor Matthew Burt officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, William Alexander Webb.
Serving as matron of honor was Tabitha Boan of Columbia, S.C., daughter of the bride. Lillian Johnson of Port Allegany, granddaughter of the groom, was the bridesmaid.
Flower girls were Lydia Boan of Columbia, granddaughter of the bride, and Tagelynn Whitman and Inley Whitman, both of Kane, granddaughters of the groom. Blake Johnson of Port Allegany, grandson of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The best man was Ryan Johnson of Port Allegany, son of the groom. Groomsmen were Casey Pagans and Cayran Pagans, both of Roanoke, Va., grandsons of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Joe Cosenza, Tawana Williams, Matthew Burt, daughter of the bride RoseAnna Pagans, Tabitha Boan and William Webb.
The reception was also held at Canoe Place Fish and Game Club. Entertainment was provided by RoseAnna Pagans, Tabitha Boan, Matthew Burt and William Webb.
The couple planned a wedding trip to Corolla, N.C. They will reside in Turtlepoint.
The groom, a graduate of Port Allegany High School, is the process crew leader for new product development at Ardagh Group.
