The deadline to apply for The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund Christmas gift program is today.

The organization matches volunteer gift buyers in the community with the Christmas wishes of needy children age 17 and younger and seniors age 60 and older in the Bradford Area School District. Recipients must fall within WIC guidelines to qualify.

Visit https://app.elffund.org to apply. Applicants will not receive any confirmation after they submit the application. Only click on “Create” once.

Due to network security issues, some people were receiving errors when they tried to fill out the form. The errors should be fixed, but applicants can follow these steps if they still experience issues: first, clear the browser history. Visit to app.elffund.org. Internet Explorer users who get a message that states, “This site is not secure,” click on “more information,” then choose to go on to the webpage. For Chrome users who get a message that states, “Your connection is not private,” clock on “Advanced,” then choose “Proceed to app.elffund.org.”
