PORT ALLEGANY — John Dresser, DPM, foot and ankle specialist, UPMC, will now see patients at UPMC Cole’s Port Allegany Community Health Center.

Dresser joined UPMC last August and continues to expand his services across the region. He earned his medical degree from Kent State University of Podiatric Medicine, Independence, Ohio, and completed his surgical residency at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford, Conn. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

“Growing up in Emporium, I know how important it is for rural communities to have easy access to health care, including specialty services,” said Dresser. “By expanding my services, I’m able to bring a wide range of surgical and non-surgical services — from routine podiatry care to treatment of more serious conditions and trauma of the foot and ankle — to the community, helping patients get the quality care they need close to home.”

Dresser is accepting new patients and referrals in Bradford, Coudersport, and Port Allegany.
