PYOGA met at Kabob’s at the Option House on Wednesday with guest speaker Joe Strotman of Patterson-UTI Drilling Co.
Strotman has been employed for 10 years as finance manager. He develops algorithms for more efficient and cost-effective ways to drill wells.
Becky Lucia and Bev Roberts relayed a slate of officers for 2021: Ed Dallenbach, president; Judy Saf, vice president; Marsha McCracken, secretary; Jennifer Smith, treasurer; and Pattie Brink, director. Bev Roberts will replace Ed Dallenbach for a one-year term.
A flag pole will be installed later in memory of April Lang at Penn Brad Museum. Volunteers are needed at the museum for a work session this Saturday.
The next meeting will be a closed meeting on Nov. 18.
