After being notified that a staff member and a visitor to one of the buildings had tested positive for COVID-19, the Bradford Area School District announced Sunday that school will resume as usual today for staff and students who did not have close contact with the positive individuals.
A message sent to parents from the district’s text alert system stated that through contract tracing protocol, the district had identified and notified all families whose students had close contact with the positive individuals. The staff member who tested positive as well as anyone who had close contact with the positive individuals will not return to the school until the required quarantine period has ended.
Parents who have not been contacted can rest assured that their student was not in close contact with the COVID-19 case
