WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets announced Wednesday that a $700,000 renovation project is complete at its store, located at 150 Main St., Bradford, Pa.
This marks the twelfth renovation for the supermarket chain over the past year and is part of its $40 million capital improvement plan. Tops will virtually cut the ribbon on this 48,000 sq. ft. community store at 11 a.m. Sunday.
There have been a multitude of renovations both inside and outside of the store. From new exterior and interior paint, all new landscaping, to new interior décor and flooring, LED lighting throughout, a more open concept to the store’s layout, a new seating area, and even historical pictures of Bradford’s past. These enhancements give the store a refreshed and warm appearance.
Tami Appleby, store manager for this Tops location, noted ,“I’m so proud of the changes that have been made to enhance our shoppers experience. From the new olive bar and expanded cheese varieties to our new carry out café area and new beer and wine shop — we truly have so much to offer our customers.”
The newest and most exciting addition to the store came this summer with the creation of a beer and wine shop. Tops took to heart the surge in supporting local breweries and enhanced not only the selection of local favorites, but their overall offerings in the Brew Market plus added wine to its selection of offerings featuring eight local wineries.
