A Shinglehouse man waived a preliminary hearing for sexual assault charges on Monday before District Judge William Todd.
Jason M. Milliken, 42, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a person less than 16 years of age, a first-degree felony; sexual assault, a second-degree felony; two counts of corruption of minors, a third-degree felony and a first-degree misdemeanor; one count each of recklessly endangering another person, indecent assault without consent and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, second-degree misdemeanors; and furnishing liquor to a minor, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaints for Milliken and his husband, Aaron Waters-Milliken, 42, a juvenile male reported he had been sexually assaulted on Sept. 5.
The youth was at the couple’s residence, and was supplied alcohol, cigarettes and a vape. Both adult men told police that they touched the child and performed sex acts on him. The criminal complaints noted that the couple had exposed the child to a communicable disease by performing sex acts on him.
Waters-Milliken waived a preliminary hearing Sept. 21. Both men are in McKean County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
Also in McKean County on Monday, Tyler E. Sutton, 32, of Tidioute, had most charges against him bound to McKean County Court at a hearing before District Judge David Engman. One misdemeanor charge of resisting inspection or apprehension was withdrawn, court records indicate.
Sutton still faces the following charges: endangering the welfare of children, a first-degree misdemeanor; incapable of safely operating watercraft after imbibing alcohol or refusal of test, a misdemeanor; and several summaries: negligent operation of a watercraft, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, interfering with officer’s performance of duties, mandatory program of boater education, violating regulations of artificial/natural waters, operating motorboat without registration and three counts of violating rules/regulations of equipment requirements.
According to the criminal complaint, at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8, two Waterways Conservation Officers were in a marked patrol boat on the Allegheny Reservoir near Morrison Campground in Hamilton Township, when they saw Sutton operating a boat without lights, and towing a child on an intertube, after sunset. An officer told Sutton to stop the boat, but he did not, pointing to the shore and continuing to travel.
Court records indicate that Sutton, who police suspect was under the influence, was uncooperative with officers, and at one point even jumped in the water and claimed that an officer pushed him in.
Sutton is free on $2,500 unsecured bail.
Charles E. Carlson Jr., 38, of St. Marys, waived a hearing before Engman on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, a third-degree felony; DUI-alcohol and DUI-general impairment, misdemeanors; and summary counts of driving at a safe speed and careless driving.
Court records indicate the alleged offense occurred on July 31 in Kane Borough.
Carlson is free on $2,500 unsecured bail.
