There were an additional 1,161 cases of COVID-19 reported statewide in Pennsylvania as of Friday, bringing the state’s cumulative total to 161,284, according to the state health department.
While three local counties remained stable, Elk County showed an increase of three cases in Friday’s reporting.
According to the health department, Elk County has had 76 positive cases, with 2,526 negative tests
St. Marys has had 20 positive cases and 6 probable cases. Ridgway has had 13 confirmed cases and 7 probable. Johnsonburg has had 9 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable cases. Weedville has had 5 confirmed cases. Kersey has had 1 to 4 probable cases. Wilcox and Sigel have had 1 to 4 confirmed and 1 to 4 probable cases. Brockport and Benezette have had 1 to 4 confirmed cases.
McKean County’s case count is at 60 positive cases with 4,451 negative tests.
Potter County’s case count is at 30 positive cases, with 1,159 negative tests.
Cameron County has had 8 positive cases and 449 negative tests.
There has been a total of 8,179 deaths statewide to date.
To date, 1,904,971 patients have tested negative, the health department reported.
Pennsylvania still has travel restrictions in place, recommending that anyone who travels to one of the states on the quarantine list, self-quarantine for 14 days upon return.
The states on the list are as follows: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
