The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 E. Corydon St.
Leader Vickie Johnson called the meeting to order with the TOPS and KOPS Pledge.
The song was “TOPS Is a Good Sign” to the tune of “I Will Walk the Line.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Co-Leader Dianne Lewis weighed in 18 members with a loss of 21.4 pounds, one staying the same and two keeping food charts.
Secretary report was read by Jeanne Lowe.
Nickelodeon was muffins. The fruit is peaches, and the vegetable is Brussels sprouts. The food to avoid is french fries.
The Food Charts was won by Dianne Lewis.
The Bingo contest was won by Chris McCracken, and next week the group will start new games.
Healthy tips were shared by Elaine Harrie, fashion tips by Jessie Skillman, household tips by Chris McCracken and the weekly joke but Jeannie Miller.
Members drew names for a buddy of the week.
Members were reminded to bring in brown lunch bags and Ziploc baggies for the Friendship Table.
The program was by Theresa Bond, and she talked about tips to avoid some foods and drinks for a healthy diet.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS Prayer.
