There will be a Service of Blessing of the Animals at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension (26 Chautauqua Place).
This brief service is held annually in honor of St. Francis of Assisi and is a time to give thanks for our companion animals and ask for special blessings on them.
The service will be held in the church parking lot and COVID-19 precautions will be observed. Pets must be on a lead/leash or in a carrier/cage and their people must wear masks.
