KANE — The Kane Area Development Center is coordinating an effort to create a town brand. The brand will bring a unified and consistent look to marketing and communication pieces used to promote Kane, town wayfinding signage and the Kane website.
To get input from as many people as possible, the center is asking the Kane community, alumni, visitors and regional neighbors to complete the Kane Identity Survey by Oct. 5.
There are two ways to complete the survey. It can be taken online by visiting www.kanepa.com and going to the “Click here to complete the Kane Identity Survey” button. For those who would like to complete a hard copy, stop by the Chamber of Commerce office at 54 Fraley Street to pick one up or contact the Chamber office at 814-837-6565 or info@kanepa.com to have one mailed.
“Everyone is invited to complete this survey and we hope to have a great response,” said KADC executive director Kate Kennedy. “It is really important to take the 5 minutes or so to complete the survey so we can hear from a variety of perspectives. Please feel free to share the survey with family and friends near and far who have a connection to Kane.”
The Kane branding project is partially funded through a grant the KADC received from The Conservation Fund after a team from Kane attended the Appalachian Gateway Communities Regional Workshop in November 2019. The Kane Borough and Seneca Resources have also contributed to this project.
