SMETHPORT — The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #623 was held Tuesday evening with weigh-ins at 4:30 p.m. at Chico’s Cafe and Bake Shoppe at 101 W. Main St. in Smethport.
Nine members weighed in with a loss of 12.6 pounds. Evelyn was the best loser. Members are to stay away from cookies this week.
Marilyn was the best loser for the month of August, with the group as a whole losing a total of 19.2 pounds. Members will wrap up their Falling Leaves Contest next week and begin their Steps Contest the first week of October. There will be a TOPS Zoom meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday for anyone interested.
Jayme read an article on sleep, and the program for the week was a tongue-in-cheek reading on weight loss failures.
