A women’s group called The Healing Journey is set to begin meeting at Open Arms Church of Bradford, located at 1289 E. Main St., at 6 p.m. Sept. 29.
The 29-week program will focus on helping women heal from grief, trauma, and other invisible afflictions.
“We hope to provide an environment to heal from mental, emotional or spiritual wounds that many of us have experienced and carry with us for a lifetime,” organizer Sue Palz said. “This comprehensive program will use the Bible and many other tools to help people move toward wholeness and freedom.”
An introductory informational session will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Open Arms. Meetings will begin the following Tuesday, at the same time and location, and continue on Tuesdays for the duration of the program. Twelve spots are currently open, and the cost is $55.00; limited scholarships are available if needed.
