Debbie Mott’s recent letter to the editor doesn’t support the facts. Our president DID NOT report things about COVID-19 in a timely fashion. In fact, he downplayed it to be a hoax and it would soon just go away.
President Trump is not making our country respectable, but just the opposite. Our president’s disgusting tweets are seen by every democracy in Europe. He doesn’t support the scientific community, intelligence community or his generals. He knows more than all of them. What a role model.
He rebuffs the doctor from the CDC about how critical mask-wearing is to protect us while they are working on a vaccine. When a small child says, “Grandma, everyone is supposed to be wearing a mask. Why isn’t the president?” what do you tell that child?
We don’t appreciate what he has accomplished? Just what is that great thing he has done for the country that he is not getting credit for? I would gladly forgo any increase in my IRA if it meant we could get this man out of office. Thousands have died at his hand. We never did get a national response to the pandemic, which was critical in helping our governors get much-needed help to their health care workers and our citizens.
It was reported Tuesday they had not one COVID death in Canada, where there was a national response for their provinces and territories. Their prime minister wears a mask and does not dispute his scientific community. Public and private labs are working together for a vaccine.
How much worse does this have to get? The GOP cult followers, I don’t get. It must be they don’t care about our citizens, either.
Another low blow was from Trump trying to politicize the virus because some blue states had more deaths than red states.
Then there was his comment to aides on why anyone would join the military. What’s in it for them? I believe he did call our military suckers and losers.
Let’s make him the biggest sucker and loser on Nov. 3.
