In an effort to further enhance Bradford’s historic downtown, the board of directors of RISE adopted the pine tree located on Tops property at the intersection of Main Street and Festival Way.
RISE is hosting its first seasonal tree decorating event at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 26 in the Tops parking lot. Building on the success of the scavenger hunt at Marilla, RISE felt another outdoor event would be of interest to members and prospective members.
This will be a simple, fun, and social event to decorate our “adopted” tree for fall. Enjoy networking and socializing and indulging in fall refreshments.
Courtney Newhouse, co-chair of the RISE events committee said, “We are excited to see and hear from RISE members as they express a desire to continue to be involved in the community. We are appreciative to have such strong partners as Tops Friendly Market and, also, the Blaisdell Foundation who is also lending support.”
RISE encourages the community to come learn more about its mission/goals and sign up to be a member. Currently, the RISE membership fee is waived until Jan. 1, 2021. Sign up today at my.cheddarup.com/c/rise-membership or email rise.bradford@gmail.com. Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up at the event.
