WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets has expanded the number of stores in which shoppers can purchase beer and wine to now include its Bradford, Pa., location at 150 Main St.
Recently Tops received a Wine Expanded Permit (WEP) to distribute both wine and beer at its Bradford location allowing shoppers to purchase up to 192 ounces of beer with any transaction while doing their shopping and 3,000 ml of wine, which equates to two 1.5 liter bottles or four 750 ml bottles of wine.
Offerings include hundreds of different wines from all over the world, with many from local wineries. More than 1,000 items including seltzers, lagers, ales and IPAs will be sold.
Both beer and wine are available for purchase during normal store hours.
The ability to sell wine in Pennsylvania was made possible under the Pennsylvania Modernization Act, which was initially signed in June 2016.
