The Friendship Table in Bradford is reaching out to the public to donate food items.
Items being sought for the organization include any canned foods such as fruit and vegetables and boxed mixes such as cake, brownies and stuffing.
People interested in making food and/or monetary donations directly to the Friendship Table can call 814-362-6658.
The Friendship Table has been handing out meals from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Patrons receive a hot meal to go, along with a bag lunch.
Since the start of the COVID-19 mitigation efforts — and subsequent rise in unemployment — the number of people seeking meals at the Friendship Table has increased. The organization has served more than 20,000 meals in 2020.
