HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Wednesday released that there were 816 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 135,611.
Locally, there was no change.
Elk County has had 65 positives and 2,171 negative tests.
McKean County has had 40 positive cases and 3,777 negative tests.
Potter County has had 25 positive cases and 967 negative tests.
Cameron County has had 8 positives and 392 negative tests.
Statewide, the number of tests administered within the last 7 days is 164,110 with 4,760 positive cases. There were 22,821 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., Sept. 1. These results represent the total number of tests administered.
There are 7,712 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 21 new deaths reported.
Mask-wearing is required in all businesses and whenever leaving home. Consistent mask-wearing is critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
