OIL CITY — The bridge that carries U.S. Route 6 over Roystone Run in Sheffield Township, Warren County, will remain closed through Sept. 1, weather permitting.
The closure of the bridge, which is located near the border of Warren and McKean counties, is required to complete additional work needed as part of the replacement project.
A detour is posted using Route 666, Route 948, and Route 66.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones.
